Approach to Fear: Regeneration in the News!

I wrote this nearly two days ago but it's fresh enough to still be news...
"Not that it matters much in a world so riven by tumult, anxiety, violence, authoritarian stupidity and inequality, but our wee protest meow, Approach to Fear: Regeneration, was selected as the Best of 2017: Noise by Raymond Cummings and the good humanoids at Magnet. This is such nice news - I just wanted to get some of that intense post-election ANGER off my chest. Sixty-eight friends joined in, et voila. A hearty high-nine to all the contributors. Huzzah KSV!"
It's nothing to gloat about - just one writer's opinion at one magazine. Still, that writer has always been rather perceptive! (Gloating a bit, I must confess.)
What's really cool about all this is the contributors delivered 68 scintillating and solidly eclectic tracks on short notice, and their enthusiasm appears to have been at least slightly contagious. The compilation is far adrift from the usual ports of call frequented by "noise," but with respect to hardliners, sometimes a three-hour dose of outrage (in its various representative stages) feels like a block of concrete to the dome.
We've still got some of the cassettes left - almost 20. Not bad for an edition of 100 with zero hype budget behind it. Square up to it if you still feel like strapping it on. It's €25 (plus postage) for the double C90 version, and €15 for the digital edition (which comes with four bonus contributions and original, full-length takes of a handful of tracks).
